The Woodland

Our family has stewarded this land for the last 30 years; a cherished, largely untouched 13-acre corner of ancient woodland on the south coast of England. The land is alive with a rich diversity of native trees and wild plants - many of which have been part of human healing and wisdom for thousands of years. This is where our work unfolds: tending the plants, preparing herbal remedies and sharing what we learn through workshops, gatherings and personal coaching.

The Retreat House

Wildwood is also our home - a place we live in and share. Building the house was the culmination of a long-held dream - to create a welcoming space where change can unfold through learning, resting, and connecting to the woodland. The house is the venue for many of our indoor workshops and overnight retreats.

The Medicine Garden

The Medicine Garden is at the heart of everything we do. It’s a working herb garden, home to a wide range of medicinal plants used in our Wildwood Apothecary products . Here you’ll find many familiar and much-loved herbs - calendula, chamomile, mugwort, comfrey, St John’s wort and many more. Each plant is tended with love and harvested by hand in small batches, following the rhythms of the seasons.

We run regular, hands-on workshops and courses from the Medicine Garden where you can meet the plants in person, learn how to identify and harvest them ethically, and create your own herbal remedies to take home.

Apothecary

The Apothecary grew gradually from Jules’ early days as a naturopath, making potions here and there for family and friends, into a collection of well-loved remedies shaped by years of practice, learning and relationship with the plants.

Today, the Apothecary forms a central part of our work. Each offering is made by hand, in small batches, using traditional herbal methods and carefully chosen ingredients. Plants are grown and gathered with respect for season and sustainability, and every remedy is prepared slowly, with love and care.

Gatherings

We run workshops and events throughout the year to learn, forage, heal and celebrate together. Our gatherings are an opportunity to be part of a community of like-minded people, learning to honour the old ways through folk herbalism, plant wisdom, men’s circles and women’s covens!
