What is Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy?

Here at Wildwood, everything begins with the land - and our approach to wellbeing is no different. The food we eat, the rhythms we keep, the plants that grow around us, all play a part in our health and vitality.

Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy brings these threads together. It uses food and lifestyle choices to support your wellbeing in a gentle, personalised way. Rather than treating isolated symptoms, we look at the whole person - helping to uncover the root causes of imbalance and restore your body’s natural ability to heal.

In practice, that might mean making changes to your diet and the way you eat, adding in foods that support your health and reducing those that don’t serve you so well. It could also involve looking at lifestyle habits such as sleep, stress, movement and rest - these daily rhythms can make such a difference to how we feel.

At Wildwood we offer one-to-one consultations with Jules, a registered Naturopath and Nutritional Therapist.

Plant Medicine

Alongside her work as a Nutritional Therapist, Jules is passionate about herbal medicine and the ways plants can help us heal. Where appropriate, she brings this into her practice… blending modern nutritional science with the traditional wisdom of the apothecary garden, so that food and plants work together to nourish body and soul.

“The modern day Naturopath faces many more challenges than those of their forefathers. Most of us now live in a sea of electromagnetic pollution, coupled with a plethora of chemical pollutants which were completely alien to man 40 years ago. Add to this a dose of denatured food fast-tracked by technology and we have a heady mix of health problems waiting to happen”

- Stephen Langley
